The Obedient Servant, Jesus Christ
Isaiah 50:4
In this verse, of course, is referring to our Mighty Savior Jesus Christ. If though for a moment I could get you to look at this verse as a model to follow and be molded into an obedient servant. (1 Corinthians 11:1) We as humans naturally and purposely have an ultimate example to follow, and that is Christ Jesus. We also have people who display the love of Christ, and we are to learn from them as well too. I want to encourage someone today in Jesus Christ especially if they have had the kinda week that I have walked. I just feel (keyword) that everything is coming at me at once. Overwhelmed big time! God spoke to my heart quickly and said: ” Remember who you follow.” I was also led to Isaiah 50 I read the whole thing but what leaped off the page at me was that He is training me, He is the one instructing. But just like Jesus reminding me that I am doing some things right, but in some areas, I am just being refined and tested so that I may endure and present myself as a living sacrifice, acceptable to God and the call which is upon my life. You know what the problem with a living sacrifice is? It keeps trying to crawl off the altar. (insert giggle here). You know what I am talking about when you are laying yourself in surrender so that God can use you and mold you so that His will can be done through me. It is a daily reminder to be instructed by Him every day! It is the only way!!! In Isaiah 50:4 I love this because this is what Jesus Christ did, but also what Isaiah allowed happening in his life as well, of course, he was not perfect like Christ, but he allowed it to happen. Isaiah let himself to be a student of God! That just sang to my heart this morning, and that is what I ache and long to be and is indeed the desire of my heart. This is my only hope in life; He is everything to me. I don’t expect people to understand; How could they? They have not been there to see everything and they do not hold the power of position in my life. Oh, they used to, but that is another lesson. I just want to you to soak the words of Isaiah 50:4 and I want you to see how beautiful our God is, Oh, how our Savior is glorious and full of wisdom and knowledge!
The Lord God has given Me
the tongue of those who are instructed
to know how to sustain the weary with a word.
He awakens Me each morning;
He awakens My ear to listen like those being instructed.
The reason Me is capitalized because this is what Christ did and how He left an example He is our model and our focus. His word will light the way, we only have to read it, receive it, and do it.

In many New Testament verses, we see Jesus addressing the Father as the Sovereign Lord, so giving God respect and coming to the Father many times in humility. (For Example Matthew 6:9)
We see the Father leading Jesus to give the word to the weary to comfort them. We also see that Jesus gave Himself each morning another model that we can follow and do in our everyday lives. (For Example the women at the well John 4:4) Every person Jesus spoke to He gave them hope, He gave them encouragement to live a better life, He gave them salvation which is everlasting life. All of these people had afflictions spiritually, mentally and emotionally, and sometimes physically. I pray these verses reminds us to be like Christ in these moments we come across a person that needs a word. So today let’s be like our model and glorify Jesus. I don’t want to bite off any more of this verse in hopes that you will search the scriptures today and be refreshed in knowing we have a model to follow after, and He is absolutely glorious! Our suffering is not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us! Romans 8:18
Romans 12:21
Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
That good that overcomes evil my friend is the Hope of the World, The Light of the World, Savior, Counselor, Prince of Peace, Lamb of God, Lion of Judah, King of Kings, Yeshua, Jesus Christ our Lord. Let’s seek Him today to be prepared and equipped for what comes our way! I’m Praying for you all and encouraging you to find His face today; He holds every answer and speaks boldly through the word of God.
