Judges 16:25-31

25 While they were in high spirits, they shouted, “Bring out Samson to entertain us.” So they called Samson out of the prison, and he performed for them.
When they stood him among the pillars, 26 Samson said to the servant who held his hand, “Put me where I can feel the pillars that support the temple, so that I may lean against them.” 27 Now the temple was crowded with men and women; all the rulers of the Philistines were there, and on the roof were about three thousand men and women watching Samson perform. 28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” 29 Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, 30 Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.
31 Then his brothers and his father’s whole family went down to get him. They brought him back and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the tomb of Manoah his father. He had led[d] Israel twenty years.

Samson couldn’t see, but he reached toward the pillars. He placed himself between the pillars so, he could brace himself. Samson without physical vision asked to be put between the posts to brace himself. Because what was in the natural was he had no eyes to see. So, he positioned himself between the pillars (the Lord) for awareness, stability, and strength. What were his disadvantages now became His strength? So, we see God bring out something unique in this. What was apart of great strength physically actually was a stabilizing block spiritually now. His eyes got him into a lot of trouble he misjudged people and fell in love with the people who hated him most. We know these people the Philistines gouged his eyes out.  Even, though his eyes led him astray, it led him down a path of trouble the Lord stabilized him spiritually to regain strength and position himself correctly to bring down the building down on the Philistines. See, they thought by making Samson a joke to humor them was a great thing, but it was their downfall and death. Because the Lord positions even the troubled ones, who have had no stability and gives them great strength to bring forth His will. Just when we think our strength is gone, the Lord is faithful to stabilize us and position us correctly when we cry out and allow Him to sustain us.

Some of us were not as blessed to come from stability, so we lack it. We need God to come in and turn our real lack into our strength. First God, has to stabilize us through trusting Him with that process through His Word. Place yourself between the pillars in prayer to Jesus. You will see Him do what no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, no mind or heart can imagine in your life. 1 Corinthians 2:9 What eye did not see and ear did not hear, and what never entered the human mind—– God prepared this for those who love Him. ❤
