My Eyes Are Above The Waves

Waves-Crashing-4K-Sunset-Wallpaper

Just wanted to give some of you just a glimpse of what has been going on. No excuses except one tired Mama. To be honest and transparent  I am in a bit of a dry spell. Seems these days I am grasping for alone time with Jesus. I believe Jesus in this season is just simply throwing me for a loop. That is good, ha! He is switching up and stretching me. So, I pray I am even more honest with Jesus and you all. It is an accountability thing, so here we go! Back in the saddle as they say.

This morning I was standing at coffee maker and had an overwhelming feeling of fear of failure. A “feeling” that turned into a “thought” (hmmm sound familiar??) As soon as that thought ran through my mind I said to myself ” Jesus, meet me right here. I am choosing today to direct my eyes back to you and not what I feel or think.”  A simple heart cry from a struggling piece of flesh. A heart cry, I believe there is something broken and beautiful about a heart cry. I am not saying replace a heart cry with prayer, but there are moments on our journies where the weary can only cry out from their heart. That heart cry invites Jesus to come in like a flood. That heart cry is healthy and welcomed by a tender and merciful God.

A heart cry of a wounded warrior is the beginning battle cry to the divine warrior, Jesus.

A heart cry is really a heart turning to Jesus, it is repentance. Repentance for walking without talking; running without resting. To me, there is just something miraculous and full of wonder about a child of God’s heart. I am captivated by how gentle and caring our omnipotent God can turn a heart of a wandering child. There is just something about it, I really can’t describe it with words. It is powerful, yet so graceful. Every single child of God knows the indescribable brilliance of God turning a heart. It is God’s glory, and His name is Jesus.

I don’t really have anything profound or significant to type out today. Just in case you are in the same rocking boat I am in today. Know this, a heart that cries out to Jesus is a heart that knows Jesus. It is a heart that knows the grace, mercy, and love of God.

It wouldn’t be me without scripture, so I am going to leave you with this Psalm 123 MSG. I chose The Message translation because it just fits this morning. Feel free to read in any translation. I really believe with all my heart all the things that are occurring in our lives, world and specifically in the United States. I would be safe to say every child of God is crying out in our hearts today Psalm 123. I am praying today, in my small prayers that our heart would cry out to Jesus and would lead us to the feet of Jesus every time in every situation. I sure do love each precious eye that reads these words. It really is an honor to get to share my heart with so many. Today, my friend in the waves of life there is mercy. So, with that being said when things are looking bad or even terrible I am reminded of this:

My eyes are above the waves, my eyes are drawn up toward heaven for help.

I am a servant that is watching, waiting, and holding my breath for your mercy God

Mercy, God, mercy! <3

Thank you, Father, for your mercy; Jesus Christ. In Jesus glorious and mighty name, Amen

Psalm 123 Msg

1-4 I look to you, heaven-dwelling God,
look up to you for help.
Like servants, alert to their master’s commands,
like a maiden attending her lady,
We’re watching and waiting, holding our breath,
    awaiting your word of mercy.
Mercy, God, mercy!
We’ve been kicked around long enough,
Kicked in the teeth by complacent rich men,
kicked when we’re down by arrogant brutes.

Is silence golden? Or is it marvelous?

girl_in_the_forest_alone_lake_people_hd-wallpaper-_hZo

Silence is a strange thing in today’s time. We have so many ways of communication and staying in touch. Sometimes they are wonderful and sometimes they can fuel the biggest commotion and ruckus we have ever seen. I am reminded this morning of

Ecclesiastes 3:1  ESV For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

In Mark 15:4

Pilate asked Jesus: “Do You answer nothing? See how many things they testify against YOU!”

I LOVE verse five

But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.

Oh! If we would just be still and quiet. I believe with all my heart even in the midst of our trials or triumphs, remaining still and quiet means we are firmly residing on the cornerstone. I know this is seemingly impossible to us, but with the power of God abiding in our hearts we can.

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Jesus knew by remaining quiet the Father’s will would be carried out to His own crucifixion. That is why I believe He stayed quiet. I also believe that our tongue can get us into more trouble that we like to think. In the book of James, we see just what the tongue is truly like.

James 3:6 – And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

My Favorite and actually the verse I want you to recognize here

Proverbs 15:28 – The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

Jesus upheld this verse in Mark 15:4 He knew it was not the time nor the place to speak up or speak out against something. In verse 5 we see Jesus’ silence marvels Pilate.

Marveled means:

mar·vel

/ˈmärvəl/

verb

  • 1.be filled with wonder or astonishment:“she marveled at Jeffrey’s composure”synonyms:be amazed, be astonished, be surprised, be awed, stand in awe, more

noun

I mean here is Pilate looking straight into the eyes of the King of Kings and he is marveled by silence. That is Jesus, he is marvelous! Pilate was in the presence of marvel. Even though Pilate did not trust in Jesus, He still could not help to be filled with wonder and astonishment to behold a miracle from God, His name is Jesus.

Today, as you are going throughout your day, I want you to be reminded that even Jesus was still while being accused, while totally and utterly innocent. Maybe, you find yourself in a similar situation where you are constantly wrongly accused, and you want to speak on your behalf. I will tell you to trust in Jesus and be still and know that He is God and that no matter what happens from those accusations or unjustified circumstances. That your silence will marvel someone! You not taking up for yourself and or adding to the problem could marvel someone right to the feet of Jesus. Keep mimicking Jesus. He will never lead you astray, and Jesus is always fighting our battles.

Couple more scriptures to remind you:

Psalm 37:7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Psalm 62:5-6 My soul, wait suddenly for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved

John 16:33 I have told you this so that through me you may have peace. In the world you’ll have trouble, but be courageous—I’ve overcome the world!

Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Silence is golden, my friend

Being still in the midst of chaos is the marvelous power of Jesus Christ. The power that rolled the stone away, the power that sent life, a way to Heaven, and the truth to us.  – Kimberly Ferren

I know remaining quiet is hard, I am praying for you today. I am asking the Lord to take the desire out of us to defend ourselves. To be aware when the enemy is doing all that he can to disarm, discredit, disable us. We can fight, we get to choose Jesus or the world. We have a say, don’t ever let our enemy fool you otherwise.

Romans 6:6 ESV

We know that our old self-was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

One last thought……

Today I want you to know or at least read that you are justified and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. He is your help in ever-present trouble which is this world.

The Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials.
(2 Peter 2:9)

He knows! <3

In our service to Jesus sometimes we have to make hard decisions. They are sometimes hard to carry, sometimes they come with a price. I am reminded of what Jesus said and did for the disciples in
John 13:6-8
Jesus Washes His Disciples’ Feet
…6He came to Simon Peter, who asked Him, “Lord, are You going to wash my feet?” 7Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later” you will understand. 8“Never shall You wash my feet!” Peter told Him. Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.”…
I can relate to Peter. Peter’s heart is in devotion mode, but his flesh needs constant washing with the Word. Jesus knows the heart. Jesus saw past the quick response that Peter gave and saw a heart that was devoted but lacked understanding. Peter replied to Jesus,
Never will you wash my feet, and Jesus said, “Peter! If I do not wash your feet, you will not have business with Me.”
Peter complied because his heart was devoted, and Jesus washed Peter’s feet signifying that nothing is below us in service to Jesus and that in Jesus washing us with the Word of God we will be able to remain in Him and devote ourselves to service.
Even the most mature Christian will become ineffective if we refuse Jesus, and deny Him to wash our feet with the Word of God. With that washing, our lives will bring glory and honor to Jesus. We must determine ourselves to duty and anything that might hinder us to do so we must lay to the side so that we can bring glory to Jesus. We must Abide in Christ. He is our source for service, without Him will we fall away.
John 15 Abide in me, and I in you.
My point being Jesus is telling us Abide in Him, then He remains in us.
He never leaves nor forsakes us; we are the ones that decide where to abide.
We leave Jesus; He never leaves us.
 Jesus is our source.
Jesus is the Word of God.
 Jesus has made us clean.

So, today if you are facing another decision, another boundary, another problematic circumstance. I am praying for you, Jesus never said that our journey through this world would be easy. He did say He would be with us and help us through our troubles. One day we will no longer feel the pain of stress, sickness, or sadness.
One day we will not feel the frustration of being wronged, betrayed, misunderstood, or accused. One day we will be standing in front of Jesus wrapped up in his everlasting arms, and we will understand everything. This life is difficult at times; I pray we give each other grace. I pray that today for both you and I that we will sit for a while and allow the water of the Word to wash over our minds, hearts, and souls.
I am praying this verse over all of us who are in Christ and are in service and who are facing difficult decisions.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.

No matter what Jesus is asking of us or leading us to, you can know this. There are reason’s and things that we don’t understand, but we can trust that He always has the best for us.
Abide in prayer
Abide in the Word
Abide in Worship
The Father gave us the best rescue that is Jesus. He did not withhold His very own son. (John 3:16) We can’t out give God. Trust Him, and know that whatever He may be asking from us it is because it is for our good and His glory.  Remember His ways are greater, and His thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55).
I am reminded of what I wrote in my journal:
Today I wasn’t perfect, I might have even acted like an idiot trying to figure it all out! I am reminded of the Word. His thoughts and ways are higher and greater, My ideas and thoughts are a path to rebellion.
Love you, friends

Learning and Leaning

The past couple of weeks have been downright exhausting. My Mother had surgery on November 29th, a total knee replacement. It has been a challenge, and I will spare you the details. I kind of giggle to myself as I write this because I’m right in the middle of the details, there are wildly hilarious moments and my sides hurt from laughing so hard and some when I have wanted to scream, cry, and shout. Some moments simply overwhelm us, but they are just moments, and they soon enough will pass.

I’ve learned something this week…

I’ve learned that usually during the most insane moments of our lives, ya know the kind – when everything is on pause for a family member to heal. When you lose your job of eighteen years. When you get the phone call that your loved one has passed on, we know these moments. Where life suddenly changes direction in a split second. It’s these moments that are small in time, but the crescendo in a symphony. They are fast and intense and full of drama and downright exhausting.

These mini moments don’t define us, these moments refine us.

They come out of nowhere like a hundred mile an hour curveball. We think we can just swing at it and hope like heck we nail it, but more often than not we swing and frustratingly, and miserably strikeout.

That has been me for the last two weeks. If you can imagine me ever trying to hit a baseball (insert hysterical laughter here). I thought about that for a second.  I thought about myself watching my children play sports and, wanting them to knock that ball silly and hit a home run. Not necessarily to make me proud, but to show them that they are fantastic!

Then I realized…

The fact that they are standing on home plate, ready and willing to hit that ball, no matter what came from the pitcher, the other team! That was what mattered that they showed up not just for themselves, but for their team.

Some times we need to know that even if we strike out due to frustration, anxiety, grief, and failure. We have a Father in Heaven that is wild about us! Sitting in the heavenly bleachers, cheering furiously, for us to hit that ball out of the park, and if we don’t, He still will be cheering just as loud. Proud as a peacock! That’s what we call it around here! When is the last time you even thought that God, himself is proud of you??? He’s not just cheering you on; He adores every breath you take. There is nothing, that could ever stop that love, that grace.

I’m learning He doesn’t care about how far it goes or how awesome the crowd cheers. He only cares that I show up, that I am present in the moments, and most of all NO MATTER WHAT I DON’T QUIT!

I’m learning when I do strike out, and I don’t have what it takes to hit it out of the park.  He is still cheering but, as any parent does He puts together the perfect game plan for PRACTICE.

What I’m learning is He is putting me in incredibly challenging and chaotic situations and impossible odds to challenge, to strengthen me, to mold me.

I am learning that to do what He wants I need to learn how to play in the batter’s box and as the outfielder. I need to learn how to slide, to run like a deer,  to stay on base, to be aware of the game but, keep my focus on the goal.

I need to learn how to throw the Word of God,  and I need to find out how to catch it by listening and spending time with Him. I have to know the object of the game is endurance; that is making it to home plate.

I need my forehead to be as strong as flint so, I can run with champions. I need to learn teamwork and wait for the teammates and team He drafts me to. I need to learn how to be ready and, how to catch(listen) and how to throw a ball (learn) so, I can get the other team out and us in! So we can win souls for the kingdom of God. I need to learn how to lean into the pressure instead of resisting pressure and allowing the weight to slow me down and allowing it to take me out of the game.

I am learning how to lean; when I lift my eyes and I’m coming off of third base leaning into a steep curve and, then running with all I have. I will see and hear the loudest voice saying “Run! Kim, Run!” “Run! Home!”

No matter what game we are facing, we can find strength in the leaning and not the ability

We are never without leadership even when our team has given up or, the other side has a six-point lead, and we are in the bottom of the ninth; exhausted and beaten up with no hope in sight.

We always have our Father in the stands seeing, knowing, and understanding the odds but whispering ” Just lean in, then mount up with wings like eagles and soar!” with the biggest, widest, smile on His glorious face.

So, when you feel like there is no hope, no team, no coach, don’t worry your Father is in the stands giving you a look to just lean. Trust that! That my friends is the perfect and safest place to be in the whole game.

Don’t be afraid just keep running!

You and you alone, are the restorer

Waves-Crashing-4K-Sunset-Wallpaper

This week I have been humbled! It hurts! The flesh wants to live, boy, does it ever! This is the crazy part knowing that no matter what is right and what is wrong; it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that healing takes place and only Jesus can lead in that. There are these few moments we get to share life with people. I mean God says our lives are like a vapor (James 4:14). I don’t know about you but have you seen a mist? I mean it’s there then poof it is gone!

Sometimes, we have just to choose to love when it is hard. We have to allow that spirit of religion and tradition to lay down and let Christ prevail entirely. I know in my ability, I do not have what it takes to love correctly. I have fought all week with my decision. I see God confirmed and I know this is His will. I’ve known that for two years I have been on His shoulders healing from a deep hurt. I know I am relieved and ready. The problem with this is while I was recovering many took it as abandoning. I am not asking for anyone to understand and I know what it looked like, and frankly, I did jump ship. That is so hard for me to say but, it is the truth. I did thoroughly and utterly fail miserably, and when the enemy saw fit to attack, he did. I did not know that it would be so brutal. I underestimated my enemy. I did fight, and by no means was I a babe in Christ. I just was a babe in Christ when it came to spiritual warfare. God, had no choice but to teach me on a field trip of sorts.

I want to speak to those who are wounded right now. I want to acknowledge your hurt and pain in whatever capacity that may be in. Lord, help me to say this without the spirit of offense taking over and them leaving feeling as if someone else just diminished their pain and hurt. I do not want to do that. I know from my past and current situation we will always have a form of wounds. Some will remind us often of our brokenness and others will fade as we mature and we realize no matter what God is with us, and He loves us with a love that we can not fathom. I know everything that I endure, pursue, and engage there is always a risk.

The risk of rejection, hate, coldness, betrayal but, there is always a high reward for forgiveness, mercy, love, compassion, help, and relationship. I know, ‘where you are in the process’ does influence your perception. Being on the other side of a season of being out to sea I have come to this.

When we face a battle, and it seems that we have lost and, we are counted out, discredited, maybe even feel robbed. God can often restore everything if we allow Him to repair. Key is we have to surrender.

There are so many different kinds of restoration that it would take me all day to hit every point. Sometimes, that recovery comes full circle, and you and the other person can walk hand in hand. Sometimes, that restoration only comes with you on one side, Christ in the middle, and the other party on the other side but, still, there is peace. You can not walk together right without Christ in any relationship; without it ending up like a battleship. Abandon and desolate with no signs of a crew or captain; underwater, alone and at the bottom of the sea.

My point is no matter what kind of restoration occurs it is always Christ that is in charge of it, and He knows what is best for you, and He knows what is best for the other party. We need to get that down deep in our minds, hearts, and souls. ( I will repeat that and then wait for that to hit your heart) Restoration in relationships is not our responsibility; Christ is solely responsible for the repair of our relationships. We can not force it, We can not want it and have it in our time. It will come when and as He see’s fit.

For, my friends that are in hopes and waiting for that miracle of restoration with a loved one or just with a fellow brother or sister in Christ or a wayward child. I know you desire it so, and don’t you dare lose hope, keep praying and asking God for His will to be done. God is a God of restoration, and He desires for there to always be restoration, especially to reconcile one back to Him. This is the amazing thing about grace! Amen!

This is God’s heart toward every man, woman, and child! That their souls would be restored back into the hands that knit and weaved their flesh together. Wonderfully and carefully in the hidden place of their mother’s womb. But as you know different kinds of restoration go way beyond our understanding.

In my life, I have often questioned: “Why Lord?” “Why can’t I be around and in their lives anymore?” “Why am I willing and they are not?”, These are all brilliant questions to ask God, but even though we pray, we should respect the fact of God’s answer. Even if it is not what we are looking to hear. I know this is hard; that is why I am writing about it today. I want for just a moment in all your wondering and questioning if you could only see it from His perspective. Like I said this might not apply to you but, if it does then, please hear me out.

When people chose to allow the flesh to overcome (on both sides), there is always extensive damage. I am sure you all have experienced this on some level. I would like to for a moment just say putting the option to be on the right to the side and setting the same possibility of being wrong to the same side, only allow the situation to be. For a minute just imagine the Lord seeing no wrong and no right here ( I know crazy idea right. I promise there is a point) Just imagine seeing two people who He genuinely loves; hurt. In ways only they have expressed to Him; both injuries are valid and painful to hear. He has to ability to see in the future. He knows after an amount of time passes, healing and, lessons must be learned apart from one another. Because, if they remain together they will only see the conflict of their flesh and fail to see the faithfulness of God through their weakness and frailty and keep repeating the same cycle. Looping the same sequence of destruction without any signs of getting off the hamster wheel of self-torture and self-pain.  After the separation, only He knows when it is the exact right moment for two hearts to be reconciled; He is aware of their hearts and minds and souls.

cropped-unfailing-love.jpg

So, the Lord is sovereign and only good, and He hold’s no ability to lie or deceive (1 John 1:5). You see this is God’s and only God’s expertise and knowledge in our relationship’s. He is the God of timing. He is the God of restoration and love. He is what heals the world of sin and gives us hope and life (John 3:16). He sees all and know’s all (Hebrews 4:13, Psalm 33:13) and believe me He knows how to restore’s (Psalm 23:3). He is in the process of rebuilding all of us; we are all in this together. We must learn and trust Him in all things! Even with the painful and ugly stuff that we bury and hide. He promises if we follow Him that He will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He vows to give you beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:3), He promises to provide you with a future and hope (Jeremiah 29:11) just like He promised Israel, He promises that by His stripes we are healed spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally (Isaiah53:5). He pledges to rebuild the desolate places and the ruins of your life even the areas that have long been devastated even the ones that have been destroyed for generations (Isaiah 61:4). He says He will keep you in perfect peace as long as your mind is steadfastly upon Jesus because you trust Him (Isaiah 26:3) He vows to redeem all parts of you if you believe upon the name of Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin. Probably, my favorite is “Though the mountains are shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has had compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10) Those are just a few promises, and I will tell you this these are the promises for everyone if they will only believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and ask Him to come in your heart to do precisely what His word say’s He came to do through Jesus Christ.

I am praying for you, and I am praying that God would do a mighty work in your life! He has mine! I am a stinking miracle! I am forever grateful that nowhere in the Bible says:”He gives up!!” The whole theme of the Bible is His Faithfulness and His story of redemption! Praise God! Never forget He is the keeper of our heart’s, He is the lifter of our heads, and most of all when we slip and stumble in our humanity; He is always faithful and true. <3

Are You Shipwrecked?

pexels-photo-614510.jpeg

God, often sends us through the storms so that we will be shipwrecked and washed up to the place that will change us, but more importantly will change a whole island of people.

~Kimberly Ferren

We must hold on tight and trust Him. We are being tested to be entrusted with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Faith is being brought forth through many trials and, tribulations so our faith, love, and hope may strengthen as we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. James 1:2, Matthew 5:12, Romans 5:3, 1 Peter 1:6 and, we know that in the book of James God says to not just be hearer’s of the Word but doers (James 1:22).

So, let us rejoice and be joyful in our suffering because we have a higher hope in Jesus Christ. The most profound scripture that is most precious to me in the midst of trials and tribulation is:

Romans 8:18

I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.

When there is a corporate storm that inflicts many, and several others are going through the hurricane with you and around you just remember to breathe and know He is God alone. Every single one of us handles storms differently, and there is always a temptation to play the blame game.

Listen, we have to remember who and where our trust and hope remains; that is in Jesus. God always speaks to us, we have to be careful not to leave His word. The word of God is how He speaks and guides us along with confirmation, and meeting us in his word.

pexels-photo-731082.jpeg

If we are not careful, our flesh will tempt us to give way to the storms and let the wind have its way! No, that is not who we are in Christ! We can stand in the rain without giving way, through Jesus Christ.

In Acts 27:25 Paul says: ” Do not give way to the raging storm I believe God is faithful and I trust Him to complete His will just like He told me!” (my version check it out for yourself) Shipwrecked on Malta is the title.

Maybe, you are shipwrecked? Not understanding and wondering

” What in the world is going on here?” “Where are you, Lord?”

In Acts 28 we see the title ” Paul’s Ministry on Malta”

Maybe, just maybe the shipwreck that landed you on what seemed to be a deserted island is exactly right where The Lord intended you to be?  (Read Acts 28)

Verse 3 says But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

So, Paul just had been through a storm that busted up the ship he was on, Paul, drifts on the shore alive, just like God had said. Now He is gathering up sticks and a deadly snake bites him. What does Paul do? He shakes the snake off and continues.

Just like Paul, we as Christian’s will be bitten by the enemy.  Paul, didn’t sit down and start screaming saying: ” God, why have you forsaken me?” Paul shook that bite off. Paul was bitten, but not bitter about his circumstances. We can do the same thing. We can choose to trust Jesus when it seems all hell is breaking loose.

Further down we see suddenly why Paul was shipwrecked on Malta. We see that God knowingly had a purpose and a mission to save a whole island. Read the whole chapter to see for yourself.  The whole island was saved because of a storm that shipwrecked Paul.

Are you in a storm? Are you coming out of a storm only to find yourself shipwrecked and abandon with unfamiliar surroundings? Can I pose this question to you? What if God intended for you to be at a physical place but the only way you were going to get there was through a hurricane that was going to wash you ashore only to be bitten by a deadly snake bite of the enemy? What if through it all, it was God’s will so a whole island could be saved? Would your temporary discomfort be worth many souls?

So don’t give way! Don’t compromise! Remember though the valleys and the mountain tops you have been guided.

pexels-photo-795164.jpeg

For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13

There is a great temptation in our flesh also to play the blame game, and we should remember as children of God sometimes the storms of life are merely to blow us to where God wants us. Whether that’s physically moving us, or spiritually moving us, we put our trust in God and know he is faithful to complete the Good work He has started in you!
I want to leave you with these verses. Luke 1:45 and Psalm 107:20

 Psalm 107:20

He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.

This verse is my life testimony! Jesus delivered me into eternal life and out of bondage! Praise God!

Luke 1:45
And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.

Thank you, Father, for rejoicing over me! Thank you, for guiding and speaking to me! Lord, let your hand be over my life to guide me today and land me right where you need me! Let your Word lead and guide me in all your ways, Lord, help me to hide your word in my heart so, that I won’t sin against you. Lord, give me the wisdom and understanding to apply and adhere to your Word through the Holy Spirit. Place me right where I can live out the promise you spoke into my life years ago! Lord, help me to honor and glorify you! Lord, we love you and bring our minds hearts and souls to you! In Jesus beautiful name Amen!

The Obedient Servant, Jesus Christ
Isaiah 50:4
In this verse, of course, is referring to our Mighty Savior Jesus Christ. If though for a moment I could get you to look at this verse as a model to follow and be molded into an obedient servant. (1 Corinthians 11:1) We as humans naturally and purposely have an ultimate example to follow, and that is Christ Jesus. We also have people who display the love of Christ, and we are to learn from them as well too. I want to encourage someone today in Jesus Christ especially if they have had the kinda week that I have walked. I just feel (keyword) that everything is coming at me at once. Overwhelmed big time! God spoke to my heart quickly and said: ” Remember who you follow.” I was also led to Isaiah 50 I read the whole thing but what leaped off the page at me was that He is training me, He is the one instructing. But just like Jesus reminding me that I am doing some things right, but in some areas, I am just being refined and tested so that I may endure and present myself as a living sacrifice, acceptable to God and the call which is upon my life. You know what the problem with a living sacrifice is? It keeps trying to crawl off the altar. (insert giggle here). You know what I am talking about when you are laying yourself in surrender so that God can use you and mold you so that His will can be done through me. It is a daily reminder to be instructed by Him every day! It is the only way!!! In Isaiah 50:4 I love this because this is what Jesus Christ did, but also what Isaiah allowed happening in his life as well, of course, he was not perfect like Christ, but he allowed it to happen. Isaiah let himself to be a student of God! That just sang to my heart this morning, and that is what I ache and long to be and is indeed the desire of my heart. This is my only hope in life; He is everything to me. I don’t expect people to understand; How could they? They have not been there to see everything and they do not hold the power of position in my life. Oh, they used to, but that is another lesson. I just want to you to soak the words of Isaiah 50:4 and I want you to see how beautiful our God is, Oh, how our Savior is glorious and full of wisdom and knowledge!
The Lord God has given Me
the tongue of those who are instructed
to know how to sustain the weary with a word.
He awakens Me each morning;
He awakens My ear to listen like those being instructed.
The reason Me is capitalized because this is what Christ did and how He left an example He is our model and our focus. His word will light the way, we only have to read it, receive it, and do it.

In many New Testament verses, we see Jesus addressing the Father as the Sovereign Lord, so giving God respect and coming to the Father many times in humility. (For Example Matthew 6:9)
We see the Father leading Jesus to give the word to the weary to comfort them. We also see that Jesus gave Himself each morning another model that we can follow and do in our everyday lives. (For Example the women at the well John 4:4) Every person Jesus spoke to He gave them hope, He gave them encouragement to live a better life, He gave them salvation which is everlasting life. All of these people had afflictions spiritually, mentally and emotionally, and sometimes physically. I pray these verses reminds us to be like Christ in these moments we come across a person that needs a word. So today let’s be like our model and glorify Jesus. I don’t want to bite off any more of this verse in hopes that you will search the scriptures today and be refreshed in knowing we have a model to follow after, and He is absolutely glorious! Our suffering is not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us! Romans 8:18
Romans 12:21
Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
That good that overcomes evil my friend is the Hope of the World, The Light of the World, Savior, Counselor, Prince of Peace, Lamb of God, Lion of Judah, King of Kings, Yeshua, Jesus Christ our Lord. Let’s seek Him today to be prepared and equipped for what comes our way! I’m Praying for you all and encouraging you to find His face today; He holds every answer and speaks boldly through the word of God.

The Road

The Road
The road leading to Christ can be exciting, joyful, mournful, dim, bursting full of light. There will be times of fellowship, and there will be times where no one dares to go with you. There will be loneliness in the physical realm. Rest assured though that you have a friend that sticks closer to you than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24) That is Jesus; He will never leave nor forsake you. In the days of loneliness or maybe you just “feel” like you have a million people around but you “feel” like you have never been more lonely. Let me tell you that in those moments the enemy of God is twisting the reality of your situation and turning your feelings. I will agree that people are disloyal, untrustworthy, uncaring, they betray. They do this because they are flesh, and we know we do not war against flesh and blood, but principalities and darkness, evil rulers of our time. Our fight is spiritual this is where our struggle is!! (Ephesians Chapter 6)

This chapter is a golden chapter today it allows our insight into understanding that human beings betray, are unloyal, uncaring, hateful, abusive, downright mean at times, but this is not to be our focus! Switch it up on the enemy! You are not in the fight alone! If you have Jesus, you have it all! Might not “feel” like it, but as I have told you all before that the heart is deceptive and lies to us regularly (Jer. 17:9). This is why we need the Word of God to check ourselves against every day! To weed out the weeds of the enemy untruth and deception and even our flesh lies and deception away from our hearts so that the seeds of the harvest can grow and take root in our heart. That seed is the Word of God, and it can only be shown by reading, studying, applying, and speaking the Word over and intopathroad your situation.

Don’t allow the deception of your feelings keep you in anger, fear, loneliness, anxiety, most of all a prisoner or slave to your emotions. I am not saying opinions don’t matter; I am saying run to the word of God with your feelings and check them. You struggle with them, and I struggle with them but to grow up in Christ, we must tenderly learn that our feelings are deceptive, and the only thing that we can 100 percent rely on is God. Like all the people in the Bible, Christ must become greater, and I must become less. When this process happens, freedom starts to happen The Freedom of Jesus Christ! Oh that my friends, is the sweetest freedom there is. The only freedom that we have in this dying world. Our hope is in you Jesus! Only in You! Sweet one, reading this with tears down your cheeks don’t be discouraged by loneliness, it is just not true. Jesus is right there wiping the tears of your heart.

Allow Him to whisper to your heart today and fill you up with His love. We all need it, we all were created for it! Just let Him sweep you off your feet! I am posting the scriptures I want you all to remember, no matter what you are loved, favored, and cared for by the hands of the Living God. You are not alone; He goes with you!

Psalm 25:16-17
Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.

Isaiah 41:10
fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 68:5-6

Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in this holy habitation. 6 God settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
A truth that God is with us

Matthew 28:20
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

When you have these feelings and thoughts run to prayer

1 Peter 5:7-8
casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

I am praying for you and cheering you on today! Do not think that you are alone for one second! “The God that see’s” as Hagar said Is watching you and has his eye on the situation! He is faithful!

I pray and hope that you find Him today!

Your sister in Christ,

Kim
